General Terms and Conditions of Sale – Bel Barbier

Version in force as of 1 October 2026

This English version is provided for information only. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.

Article 1 – Identification of the service provider

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) apply to the services offered by:

L'Atelier Bel M, SARL (limited liability company) with a share capital of €14,500, RCS Paris 993 103 019, SIRET 993 103 019 00010, intra-community VAT number FR47993103019, registered office: 17 Rue Jacques Louvel-Tessier, 75010 Paris, trading as Bel Barbier, managing director (gérant): Sylvain Perrier.

Salon opening hours: Tuesday to Friday 10:30 am – 8:00 pm, Saturday 10:00 am – 8:00 pm, Sunday 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm.

Article 2 – Purpose and acceptance

These GTC govern the online booking, on the website www.belbarbier.com, of hairdressing and barbering services performed at the salon. Any booking implies full and complete acceptance of these GTC, which the customer acknowledges having read before confirming the booking.

Article 3 – Services and prices

The services offered, their indicative duration and their price are shown on the website at the time of booking. An online booking entitles the customer only to the selected haircut service, as described on the website. No other service, treatment or product is included; any additional service is subject to a separate request and a separate payment at the salon. Prices are stated in euros. Bel Barbier may change its prices at any time; the service is charged at the price displayed when the booking is confirmed.

Article 4 – Online booking and payment

Bookings are made online by choosing the service, the date and the time slot, and then entering one's contact details.

The price of the service is paid in full online at the time of booking.

Payment is made by bank card via the secure payment platform Stripe. Bel Barbier never has access to the customer's bank details. The booking is only confirmed once payment has been validated; the customer then receives a confirmation by e-mail.

A booking can be made either online or on site at the salon; these two methods are mutually exclusive. A service booked and paid for online is not to be paid again at the salon; a service booked and paid for at the salon does not go through online booking or online payment.

Article 5 – Firm and final booking

Any paid booking is firm and final. The website does not allow an appointment to be cancelled or modified online. For any exceptional request, the customer may contact the salon ([email protected] – 07 51 18 12 95); any postponement remains at the sole discretion of the salon and does not constitute a right.

Article 6 – Late arrival and no-show

The customer is asked to arrive on time for the appointment. In the event of late arrival, the service may be shortened or, if the delay no longer allows it to be performed within the booked time slot, be considered as not honoured. In the event of a no-show or a delay preventing the service from being performed, the amount paid online remains with the salon and no refund is due.

Article 7 – Right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-28, 12° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for leisure services provided on a specific date or at a specific frequency. As the services booked on the website are performed on a specific date and at a specific time, the customer does not benefit from the fourteen-day withdrawal period.

Article 8 – Invoice and proof of payment

After payment, the customer receives by e-mail a booking confirmation and a payment receipt together with the invoice in PDF format.

Article 9 – Personal data

The data collected during booking (name, e-mail, telephone) are used solely for managing appointments, payments and customer relations. The customer has the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection and portability, which may be exercised at [email protected]. For any question, contact [email protected].

Article 10 – Complaints and mediation

Any complaint may be sent to the salon by e-mail to [email protected] or by post to the salon's address. Bel Barbier endeavours to respond as soon as possible.

In the event of an unresolved dispute, the customer may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator to which Bel Barbier belongs: CM2C – Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice, 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris – www.cm2c.net, in accordance with Articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code.

Article 11 – Applicable law

These GTC are governed by French law. Failing an amicable resolution, disputes fall within the jurisdiction of the competent French courts, in compliance with the protective rules applicable to consumers.
